TEAM
I am a Ramon y Cajal researcher and group leader at the Biochemistry and Molecular Biomedicine Department at the University of Barcelona (UB) and the Institute of Biomedicine from the UB. My research interests focus on inter-organelle metabolism and the effects of the menstrual cycle in metabolic diseases.
I studied Biology at University of Málaga and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology at the University of Barcelona, Spain. Currently, I am doing my Ph.D. focused on studying metabolic changes during the different stages of the menstrual cycle.
I completed my BA in Biology, and Master of Science in Embryology from Kharazmi University of Iran. I worked on torsion detorsion injuries of the testis and ovarian in adult rats with a focus on oxidative stress. I also had the experience of working in an infertility laboratory. I am currently a Ph.D. student in biomedicine at the University of Barcelona.
I’m graduated in Biotechnology and Biochemistry and I have a Master’s degree in Biomedicine from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. Currently, I’m finishing my Ph.D. focused in metabolic reprogramming of c-KIT D816V mutation and WT1 overexpression in Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
I am studying Biochemistry at the University of Barcelona and working on my final project to achieve one of my targets in life: get to know the metabolic network and understand how proteins interact in their most complex reactions.
